So I thought this weekend would be packed with estate sales. Then I noticed, one by one, each sale was postponed to the following weekend. I guess that means everybody can save up their money for a great weekend of junkin’ at estate sales, auctions, and the antique show next week!

What we do have this weekend, though, is a chance to see Robert and Todd, who used to work with Sale by Nancy. They are great guys and it’ll be good to see them! Plus, they’ve got great taste, so you know it’ll be a good sale.

As for the auctions, if you’ve never checked out an auction at Decorative Iron (Morgan Auction), they’re pretty amazing.  Gary Thacker goes up north and buys out estates to bring here and auction off so he doesn’t have the typical stuff you see around these parts. I used to go to his auctions every other week when I was in college and made a killing selling stuff I bought there on eBay.
