I always crack up after I buy a bunch of stuff and then arrive to pick it up in my truck because no one knows I’m the “queen of cram”. Last Thursday I drove to Searcy to pick up the 104 chairs and 150+ chair covers with clothes rack in just my crew cab Silverado. I walked into the building and told the lady I was there for the chairs and she told me where to go followed with “…but there’s no way you’ll fit those chairs in your truck.” I told her I had a plan and drove behind the back of the building to retrieve the chairs. Thankfully the chairs were neatly stacked in a shelf right beside the door, so all I had to do was back up to the door and load them. I had easily loaded 50 of the same type of chairs into my truck a few years ago, so I knew if I stood the chairs up and strapped them in it would be no problem. As I started loading them another lady walked by and asked, “Wouldn’t it be better to lay them down?” and I responded that they wouldn’t fit if they were laid down and that I had plans on strapping them in. The only thing I didn’t anticipate was the clothes rack not breaking down, so I had to stand it up in the back and strap it from all angles. I also didn’t know I won so many chair covers and they are made out of super heavy cotton. Between the back and front seats I was able to neatly stack them with enough room for Little Caleb’s carseat. Everything fit perfectly and made it back to Maumelle with no problem. The only bad thing is the chairs were rained on during the trip home, so each and every chair had to be wiped down before I could unload them. They are good looking chairs and I’m excited about the chair covers because if I ever decide to do something fancy I’ll have covers for all of my chairs!

I hope all of you moms have a happy Mother’s Day this weekend! There are lots of sales this weekend to enjoy if you get a chance to get out and kick your heels up. Here’s what I know:
