| My dining room is closer than ever to being done! I love the blue ceiling – I expected it to make the room feel smaller, but it does the opposite! Taimi got the great idea of using the white cabinet to display my favorite pottery pieces. I was afraid it would look too cluttered, but I love how it turned out! Each item displayed in the dining room has a story of where I found it. The large round mirror came from a Bette Bogart Estate Sale. The fan-shaped mirror came from a Good Stuff Auction. The table was made by one of my favorite exhibitor couples who live in New York. I’m having so much fun decorating my house with my finds/memories – I was looking for a caulking gun in the garage and found the oval vanity tray that I forgot I bought at an estate sale years ago. I purchased a bunch of vintage gold frames at a market over the weekend. Those items will be used to make a fun collage. I’ll share more photos as more progress is made. My parents got baby chickens and the boys are in love! We visited on Sunday and the boys played with the chicks all afternoon. My mom recently got a Yorkie puppy too, but the chicks got all the attention. Caleb always loves rounding up the chickens at petting zoos, so these chickens may be some of the tamest ones you’ll meet by the time they are adults.
