| Another home project is almost complete. For a month or so I dog-sat a beautiful, sweet, gray pit bull. Since having kittens has gone so well, I wanted to see what it would be like to have a dog too. I quickly found out I’m far too busy for a dog. She made it a game to pee/poop in the boys’ room while I was busy despite all her many opportunities to get her business done outside. By the time she found a new home, the boys’ carpet was destroyed. I didn’t like the shag-like carpet anyway, so I decided to change the flooring in the boys’ room while they are on a ski trip with their dad. I got help from a friend who knows how to do flooring/trim/etc and the project is almost done. Yesterday I picked up the 16′ quarter-round trim and learned a clever way to transport it – Tie it to the bed of my truck and then to my side mirror. It might have looked funny, but it worked great! The boys come home tomorrow and I can’t wait to show them their “new” room. They are super excited! We’ve got another great list of sales for this weekend.
