| We celebrated Joshua’s 7th birthday on Sunday. He received lots of Lego sets for gifts. He scattered them all over the dining room table and has already completed almost all the sets he received. It’s great to see him use his brain rather than waste his time on his tablet. A month or so ago a friend of my neighbor’s texted me asking if I’d like an old chandelier. I excitedly told her I’d buy it from her. I had it installed last week in my dining room and I love it so much! I had purchased a new light fixture for the dining room, but the feel of the dining room changed drastically as I added the gold mirrors and accents. I moved the industrial-feeling light fixture to another room. The chandelier is the perfect finishing touch for my dining room! My only complaint is old-school chandelier bulbs get super hot. As I was putting some of the prisms back on that had fallen off, I accidentally burned my forearm (it blistered!). I’ve ordered new bulbs in hopes they won’t get as hot. I’m closer than ever to being able to open registrations for the November 7-8 Bella Rustina in Rogers, Arkansas. Everything is so much more expensive there, so I’m making calls and doing research to figure out how to make the event as affordable as possible for customers and exhibitors. I’ll be traveling to Rogers next week to visit shops and talk to locals about what they look forward to at events. I look forward to everything I learn. Maybe I can bring some new ideas to Conway.
