I was on the phone with a Bella Rustina Modern Vintage Market exhibitor a few days ago and I mentioned needing some big carts for loading and unloading furniture to the shows. The exhibitor told me she had noticed Rusty Gold Antiques and Flea Market in Conway had 3 Nutting industrial carts. I Facebook messaged John, the owner, about them and he gave me a great deal for all 3, so I told him I’d take them. I totally underestimated their size and weight! They are 7’x3′ and I bet 200+ lbs each! Thankfully John said I’d need a trailer to get them, so I rented one at the nearby U-haul before driving to Conway. I had little Caleb with me so I really appreciated John and M.T. loading the carts for me. Big Caleb and I unloaded them and, oh man, I wish the trailer would have had a ramp for the back door rather than double-doors! We just had to hard-core pick them up and carry them out of the trailer. They take up a third of my workshop, but they’ll be put to good use. I’m really getting excited about the shows this Fall! 🙂
