Thanks to everyone who came out and supported the Antique Alley Arkansas Antique Show last weekend! We had more exhibitors than usual and thankfully also had more customers than usual, so most exhibitors were happy by the end of the show.
This weekend my friend and colleague, Robin, will join me on a trip to Longview, Texas to meet members of the Zonta Club and a few exhibitors of the Zonta Antique Show we’re taking over. The show has been going on for 41 years by the same promoter (who is now retiring in his 80s), so the layout is hand-sketched and everything is done on paper. We will be measuring the convention center so we can wrap our minds around where the booths are supposed to be. Our ultimate goal is to make our transition to promoters of the antique show as seamless a transition as possible, which is going to be a fun challenge.
