This is my last day of sanity before things get cRaZy for the next couple of weeks. Friday I’ll be setting up a display table at the Glasshopper’s show featuring the month of May. I borrowed some glassware from my mom and I have some cool pieces, so I can’t wait to put it all together. Then early next Wednesday Robin and I leave out for Longview, Texas for the Zonta Antique Show. I have found out I will go on 3 TV morning news stations and 1 radio talk show to talk about Bella Rustina the following week. Both the Zonta Antique Show and Bella Rustina are booked with outstanding exhibitors, so all I have to do are a few administrative things and I’m ready!
Over the weekend I started my project of cramming 50 8′ tables into my trailer. So far I’ve packed 25 tables and I think I can easily get 40 in there and most likely all 50 if I get creative. The 14′ enclosed trailer may not be so bad after all. 🙂
Leigh Ann Winter of Houston, Texas will be at Crystal Hill Antique Mall this Saturday and Sunday providing expert on-site glass repair. She also offers silver and jewelry repair and silver re-plating. Free estimates. Refreshments will be served.
