Yesterday I had the pleasure of getting a tour of the building of the upcoming Trends & Traditions Vintage Village that’s located at 10503 Maumelle Blvd., which is on the North Little Rock side of Maumelle. Trends & Traditions Vintage Village will be the destination for finding interior decorator collections, authentic antiques, as well as reused relics.
David Guyor, owner of Trends & Traditions, has decorated the building beside Consign Design like a vintage village of the early 1900’s. You know you’re in for a treat when you walk in the front door:
Here’s the checkout counter:
This is where the first booth will be to your left as you walk in the door:
I love the lights!
Then you enter the “courtyard” to see this gorgeous mural. Booths will be set up in the courtyard with this awesome backdrop:
This rail is a true antique from Louisiana:
This fountain is pretty too!
No detail was left out! David owns the Sherwood Flea Market, so this is not his first rodeo. Past the courtyard is another large room of booths. The whole building will hold around 80 booths.
Most booths are 10’x 12′ and have easy access to electricity in the back room. Each dealer gets to pick the paint color for their walls. Loading doors are easy to get to. The heat/air units are awesome, so no one has to worry about shopping in a building that’s too hot or cold.
Trends & Traditions Vintage Village is set to open in early February. They are looking for a few more exhibitors. If you’re interested, please contact David at 501-831-5996 or TrendsTraditionsVintageVillage@gmail.com . Applications are juried, which means not just anyone can set up at The Village. David is looking for experienced sellers who know how to present and display their merchandise. Photos of previous booths are requested with the application so David can know if the seller is a good fit for the vintage market.
I’m super excited about this new shop and will keep everyone updated on the exact opening date and more. Their website is http://www.trendsandtraditionsvintagevillage.com/ and their Facebook page is: https://www.facebook.com/Trendsandtraditionsvintagevillage/
