What a weekend! I wish every show weekend could be like last weekend. We had a great buying crowd and most exhibitors were happy. I had at least a handful of exhibitors say they broke sales records at this show, which is always wonderful to hear. Shows like these are the most fun because I can get out and mingle with my exhibitors during the show without worrying about being clobbered by the stink eye that comes when exhibitors don’t do well. Successful shows are the ones filled with high fives and hugs. I’m not a hugger, so every time someone acts like they want to give me a hug, Robin shouts “She’s not a hugger!”, which cracks me up. An exhibitor up front had a bunch of dice and Little Caleb was infatuated with them. She told him he could have one dice and he made up a story that there was a mommy, daddy, big “brudda”, and two babies that had to stay together. I think I put the dice back at least 10 times over the weekend because he kept sneaking over and getting them. Saturday night Mom said he was so proud of himself that he snuck 2 dice into the camper without me catching him. I’m glad the exhibitor was a good sport about it – I’m pretty sure we returned all of the dice before she left.
