| It has been a super busy week of preparing for the Antique Alley Arkansas Antique Show this weekend in Conway. I’m also working on getting a contract for my next (ad)venture in Little Rock. Hopefully by next Wednesday I’ll have a contract so I can announce my plans for shows in February and March in Little Rock. I can’t wait to share photos and tell you all about what I’m working on. For now, I’m excited about all the awesome exhibitors who will join us for Antique Alley Arkansas this weekend. We’ll have John Walk, who has written multiple Fenton identification books, with a few booths, we’ll have an exhibitor who carries Majolica, Hummel, and other high end things we don’t see around here often, we’ll have a great exhibitor who brings amazing primitive cabinets, and another who brings a great selection of mantiques on top of our awesome usual exhibitors. There is a large collection of HO model train cars, as well as Revell airplane models, a Lionel train lamp and die-cast cars new in boxes.There are at least 50 vintage Breyer horses from the 1980s, gently used but in their original boxes. He was a government employee and history researcher, so there is a library packed with books, including a complete set of Harvard Classics and a Cyclopedia set from the late 1800s. She was a seamstress and cross-stitch hobbyist, so there is a craft room full of kits, thread, supplies and finished samplers. There is a large collection of contemporary fiction books, DVDs (including boxed sets). There are antique pitchers, butter crocks and a grouping of signed Jerry Brown (Alabama potter) pieces. There are vintage military posters, patches and medals. As for furniture, there are no beds or dressers, but there are tables, desks, an antique ice box, and a kitchen corner booth. Most of the furniture is solid wood, from two claw-foot pedestal round tables to a kidney-shaped vanity table.
