Upcoming Estate Sales and Auctions for December 31 – January 3

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas! The boys got new bikes and a hoverboard for Christmas, so we’ve been outside enjoying those when the weather permits.

It’s almost time to kiss 2020 goodbye and I’m completely fine with that. It has been an incredibly challenging year, but the challenges have pushed me to try things I probably never would have otherwise, like learning how to tie-dye and expanding my events at the Conway Expo Center to use the pavilion too. I’ll probably not use the pavilion next weekend during Antique Alley Arkansas because it’ll most likely be cold, but I hope to use the pavilion at future shows. Renting two 40-ton AC units with generators along with a “Port-a-Lisa” toilet trailer for the September event was a learning experience for sure. That show about did me in, but I look back at it with pride because I learned so much. I am still learning how to raise tadpoles to froglets to baby frogs and it is not very easy at all, but I’m excited to say I was invited to give some of our baby frogs to the J.B. and Johnelle Hunt Family Ozark Highlands Nature Center in Springdale to be on display. The new Nature Center just opened December 11th, and it’s really nice! We enjoyed looking at the Arkansas animals on display and learning about them at different stations. We took some frogs there Saturday. In hindsight the frogs are probably too young for display, but hopefully they’ll grow big enough soon so the public can enjoy them. I have 18 more tadpoles to go.

Joshua walked like a little drunk man over the “stream” (created by computer screens) under the floor. It was fun to watch what would swim or float through.

Below is a photo of the tree frogs’ new home, which they will love.

Happy New Year! Looks like there are a few auctions in the next few days, but I haven’t heard of any estate sales. Next weekend we’ll have a bunch of estate sales and the tenth annual Antique Alley Arkansas Antique Show, which is coming together nicely. Here are the auctions I know about for this weekend:
