I hope you had a great St. Patrick’s Day! I was inspired by someone else’s “Irish Blessing” they wrote and created one for estate sales.
Little Caleb and I caught our first critter of the year – a Dekay’s Brown snake. We were at my parents’ last Sunday and Little Caleb asked to go to the creek. I figured it was too early in the year to find much, so I was surprised to see not one, but two Dekay’s Brown snakes in the road on the way there. Dekay’s Brown snakes eat slugs and earthworms and are as harmless as any critter can be, so they are perfect for my nature-loving boy to catch and release on the other side of the road.
