I have determined it has been over 7 years since I’ve been as sore as I am at this very moment. Today was my third day in a row to work out at F45. The F stands for Functional Training and the 45 stands for 45 minutes. Last year I watched multiple Maumellians lose lots of weight doing the program and I’ve been talking about joining all year and finally put Joshua in Day School so I could try it out. Holy Moly – Monday and Wednesday was HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) and Tuesday was weights. The classes are super challenging and exactly what I’ve been looking for since I did classes led by Amanda Castillo while working at Acxiom before Little Caleb was born. When I say sore, I mean sitting, standing up, or going up and down stairs is killer today. A couple more weeks of this and the 600ish times I bend over marking off booths and the 8+ miles a day I walk during show setups will be a walk in the park. I’m so excited to finally get back in shape!
I found some great stuff at Counting on Each Other last week! Lawanda pointed out the red Pyrex dish and then as she was showing me some Corningware, I noticed the 3 largest pieces of the green Cinderella bowl set and the top two green covered casserole dishes (in the photo above) at the bottom of the tub (I already had the bottom casserole dish). I picked up the small “verde yellow” bowl years ago at an estate sale and I’m pretty sure it completes that Cinderella mixing bowl set! I also found brass bowls with pretty peacock designs that I couldn’t resist.
