We had the best time Sunday decorating and hunting eggs while visiting my parents. I hesitantly bought each of the boys an egg decorating kit. I wasn’t sure if they’d care anything about coloring eggs, but they loved it!
You can kinda tell by looking at each egg who did which one. Little Caleb had the steadier hand and chose wider bands of colors while Joshua’s designs were a little wild. Each egg is its own piece of art. I hid these eggs along with plastic eggs filled with candy for the boys to find and Little Caleb completely bypassed these since they were real eggs and he only wanted the candy. 
I was so busy during the shows in March and April that I didn’t take down our Mardi Gras wreath. The wreath was part of the great stuff I bought off Facebook Marketplace for the SoMardi Gras parade and I thought it was pretty with its purple and green mesh ribbon. Big Caleb has been pestering me to take the wreath down and I told him I’d buy a new door hanger at Bella Rustina. Last week I discovered a nest full of beautiful blue speckled eggs in the wreath and this week they hatched! Guess we’ll be celebrating Mardi Gras for another couple of weeks as these little House Finches grow up. The boys like checking on them every couple of days to see how they have grown.
