Our insanely busy summer continues as I decided last-minute to throw Joshua a birthday party for his fifth birthday last Friday. We are blessed with a residential park across from our house, so it’s easy to order a bouncy house and invite the neighborhood and Joshua’s pre-k class (plus their siblings). I was too busy entertaining to count how many kids came, but it was well over 20, so I’ll call it a success! Little Caleb had just as much fun as he brought out water guns and Nerf guns. Those boys had water strung out all throughout the house. Some boys figured out the bidet in the bathroom and thought it was funny to trick other kids to stand in front of the toilet so they could squirt them, so I was forever cleaning up water and laughing at their shenanigans.
