| Thank you to each customer and exhibitor who made Bella Rustina happen. Our attendance wasn’t great and I was worried exhibitors didn’t do well, but I’ve had a large number of exhibitors make a point to tell me they had a good show and I’m so thankful! The backdrop of our selfie station was a vintage King-sized sheet bought from Mid-Towne Antique Mall. With rain in the forecast I ordered a bunch of parasols to act as umbrellas along with fake flower heads. We strung the flower heads onto fishing line to create flowers “raining” from the parasols. The funny thing is I had ideas in my head, but no true plan on how to put the selfie station together. I brought all the stuff and Taimi put it together – I love what she came up with! Another Taimi idea came to life at the show last weekend – She designed Mother’s Day t-shirts and we customized them during the show. We told customers we could customize any name under “Vintage” and she kept busy printing “Memaw”, “Gigi”, “Abuela”, and other names on the shirts. I still have the ability to make these shirts if anyone wants one. They are $30 for one or $25 each for two. Next up I have Bella on the Boulevard in Maumelle June 6, Antique Alley Arkansas Antique Show July 10-12 in Conway and Bella Rustina will return to Conway August 28-30. I’m hoping to take some time off from show stuff in the coming weeks before everything picks up again.
