| Hope y’all had a fun Halloween! The rain tried to slow us down, but the boys weren’t having it! Caleb had a blast “riding” a dinosaur and Joshua was Freddy Fazbear. We didn’t have many houses in our neighborhood participating with Trick or Treating so we had to drive to another neighborhood. The boys got plenty of candy and had lots of laughs. I’m still slowly but surely working on my “side quest”, the property in Morrilton. I think I’ve mentioned it before. As a recap, 20ish years ago we were told in college that investing in property was the way to go. I had saved up some money and got on eBay to try to win an investment property. I found a place in Morrilton, but the price went too high. My parents went behind me and bought it anyway. Fast forward to last year and they have been too busy all these years to turn it into an investment property, so they gave it to me. It was a jungle and the mobile homes that were on the property had been destroyed by trees. I hired someone to clean up the land and tear down the mobile homes. The guy I hired got a girlfriend out of state and moved, leaving me with a quarter of a mobile home to do something with. Today I experienced taking a load to the dump. I took a little over a ton of mobile home pieces. I had no idea I would be standing in dirty diapers and trash to unload my trailer, but that’s the dump – I don’t know why I thought it would be anything different! Earlier this year I learned about having Entergy run power to the land – I figured I would tell them I needed power and they would run it. It’s so much more than that and they charge a bunch to do it! Today I had a perc test done to determine if I can have a large enough septic tank installed to make my plans happen. I want to build a tiny home village. Once I start doing all the fun stuff with the tiny homes (building, decorating, etc), I’ll share more. I’m almost there! Starting today I’ll be volunteering at the Maumelle Food Truck Festival. We are going all out this year with a concert on top of over 40 food trucks and 70 vendors! I posted the flyer below in the listings. It’s always such a fun event! Here are the sales I know about for this weekend: Miss Estate Sales Thursday – Saturday, November 5 – 7 9:00AM – 3:00PM 700 Asbury Rd.
