| Setup hasn’t even begun and this is already a show for the books. I loaded two trailers for this show – My usual enclosed trailer with carts, chairs, small tables, selfie station props, etc and a trailer for exhibitor tables and hay bales for the customer shuttle. I had considered buying a box truck to take everything in one load, but I have a good friend who promised he would pull the exhibitor-table trailer for me. Flash forward to today and I’m 30 minutes from home on my way to Rogers when I get a call and my friend was super sick. I immediately started calling around to find someone else to pull my trailer. Little did I know my gas was plummeting fast. Shortly after I caught on that I needed to find a gas station quickly, I ran out of gas. Then I started calling around to find someone to bring me gas. Thankfully Robin was just 7 minutes ahead of me. She rescued me and we got back on the road. My sick friend asked another friend to bring my table-trailer and he arrived a little after midnight. My people have worked so hard to help me tonight. It’s after 4:00AM and setup begins at 7:00AM. Taimi and I are about to set up our beds here in the venue to take a nap. Hopefully we got all the drama out of the way and setup will go smoothly!
