I once again have my hands in too many things this week, but the things are awesome! Tomorrow Robin and I will be attending the Runway for the Cure. I have worked diligently the past few weeks finding Bella Rustina exhibitors who will be donors for this event (and picking up items) so we could have a $500 value table to give away at the event. One lucky participant tomorrow will win a set of 3 pallet pumpkins by Small Town Pickers, a large handmade barn-wood frame with vintage lithograph given by Blue Dog Relics, an antique ironstone pitcher and a piece of artwork from Oliver’s Antiques, an upcycled vintage jewelry necklace by Sparklythangs, and $30 in Bella Bucks plus two tickets to the October 13-15 Bella Rustina. I hope the winner enjoys the items – this would be a dream giveaway for any of our customers!
As part of the Maumelle leadership group I’m in I was supposed to volunteer for the Maumelle’s Bash on the Boulevard this weekend, but they received a cancellation at the last minute, so now I’ll have a booth like last year. I ordered a really nice tent (hopefully nice in more ways than one after my old one punched me in the face last year), so hopefully I won’t have any trouble with it. I just got the call today that I’ll have a booth so I’m really going to have to think quickly about what I’ll bring! I really enjoyed participating last year, so I’m excited to do it again.
