My “cat lady” package is processing and should be ready in around three weeks. My boys have been asking for kittens for around a year now, so when one of my exhibitors began posting photos of a surprise kitten litter, I got a whim and contacted her. On Monday I visited the kittens and picked out the two I’ll be taking home. Above is “Dora the Explorer”, named by her original owners because she’s the first-born and most likely to be exploring the craft room. I also picked out a black and white tuxedo kitty who reminds me of my favorite cat growing up, Silvi (Short for Sylvester from Looney Tunes). Caleb and Joshua are old enough now to appreciate pets and help me take care of them, so this should be a blast.
On Monday I had my 8-week checkup for my shoulder. I figured 8 weeks would be plenty to heal from a shoulder bone spur removal, but I was told even though everything looks great, I have to be good and lift nothing more than 20 lbs with my right arm for another 6 weeks. I had already worked up to 15 lbs after being told I couldn’t use my right arm to work out for the first 6 weeks. My arm already feels fantastic, so I’m super excited about the possibility of working out pain-free really soon.
