The selfie station for last weekend’s Bella Rustina was a last-minute miracle! I was in Hobby Lobby a week before the show when I ran into Jessica, one of my exhibitors. I told her my plans and she quickly pointed out the maroon chairs I planned to use would clash with Santa. She offered to let me use her sleigh and then went on to tell me about how she has access to cedar cuttings, a flocked tree, and more. I purchased the 8’x8′ wall from Facebook Marketplace in the summer and replaced the wedding flowers glued to it with rustic paneling. On Monday I found the amazing settee on Facebook Marketplace. I didn’t expect to get it, but found out during my horrendous first round of marking off booths I could pick it up Tuesday night. Jessica and Taimi worked together to put together our best selfie station yet. Hundreds of photos were taken in front of it with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
 
Overall Bella Rustina was a success. While we had a great attendance and many exhibitors did well, I heard from some exhibitors customer spending was down. As you’re making your Christmas shopping lists, please don’t forget small businesses. Many of them have booths in local shops and would love to have your support.
