A few weeks ago I visited Strawberry Fields Antique Mall in Searcy, AR. I found quite a few great items, but this angel is my favorite. In fact, I found it lying on its side behind some larger items on the back of the large square check-out counter. It didn’t have a price, so I asked the lady behind the desk. She only charged me $2.50! Since it’s an Irish Dresden piece, I put it on eBay starting at $19.99 just to see what would happen. Last night I got a couple bids and sold it for $20.50. Not too shabby for what little effort I put into finding and selling it!

Speaking of Dresden, I found this gem at the Estate Sale by June last weekend. I will be keeping her for my personal collection – I have a thing for gorgeous figurines!
For those who are curious, Dresden lace is lace that is dipped into liquid porcelain and then applied to the figurine by hand. The result is gorgeous ruffles that I would have never thought came from fabric!
Woohoo! I got an email from Estate Sale by Katherine last night stating there’s an estate sale this weekend! Here’s her ad:
