This coming Sunday is Caleb and my 7th wedding anniversary. It’s amazing how far we’ve come in 7 years. When we got married Caleb hadn’t even been accepted into UALR Law School yet and I had been working at Acxiom for 3 years. We lived in a trailer park in Conway for a while before moving to Maumelle so Caleb’s commute to Little Rock wouldn’t be so long. It’s been an exciting 7 years! We never have a dull moment. 🙂
My parents celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary last Friday. Talk about coming a long way — My mom was 14 when she and Dad got married! She says she just “was tired of living with her parents”. They waited until she was 21 to have me. Mom was my age, 32, when they started taking care of foster children. They have taken care of over 200 teenagers (mostly boys) since 1993. They definitely never have any dull moments!
