The Bella Rustina Modern Vintage Market is just over a month away and I’m certainly feeling it! I can tell by the phone calls and attention the vintage market is getting that the September 18-20 event at War Memorial Stadium is going to be huge. Almost double the number of exhibitors have signed up since the March show and they will represent 10 states. What’s sooo funny is a vintage market promoter (Not a friend or foe of mine) in another state sent out an email to her exhibitors strictly forbidding talking about other vintage markets and any promoters from other shows soliciting her exhibitors at her event. After her event a couple weeks ago, I got calls from multiple exhibitors wanting to join Bella Rustina because other exhibitors told them about it at that event. It’s great to hear that a show from little ‘ole Little Rock, Arkansas is being talked about out of state.
I’m hoping very soon to have Bella Rustina t-shirts on hand. I’m super excited about the designs and can’t wait to see them in person. The theme of the shirts is “I’m just a vintage soul”. You can see the two designs in the photo. The only difference is I decided the shirt with the white design should be on a gray shirt for those who prefer more neutral colors.
South Main Creative will be opening September 8th in Little Rock. Valerie is accepting applications for antiques and vintage merchants if any of you are looking for a new place to sell. You can follow her shop’s progress on Facebook.
There are a good number of sales this weekend, but I bet there would be more if it weren’t for Bargains Galore on 64. If you’re out shopping on Hwy 64, be sure to stop at 2 Brothers’ Reclaimed and Repurposed Inventory Sales in Menifee. Chris Penn has his store there and he will have vendors set up on the premises.
