I received the great honor of being listed in Women’s, Inc’s list of “Women in Business” in their August issue. It was a really neat process – I had a photo shoot with Strain Photography. I had no idea Brandy (the photographer) loves antiques/vintage. I forgot half my props, but Brandy was quick to come up with an even better idea than I had with my mom’s suitcases. We are open 4 full days and it’s all priced to sell quickly. This house is one of those that is much larger than it looks from the street. Upstairs is frozen in time (the 70’s) with great vintage furnishings- sofa & loveseat, chairs, twin beds, desk, formal DR table/8 chairs, vintage breakfast table/4 black vinyl chairs, dresser, console stereo and TVs, lamps, and knick knacks. One bedroom is full of women’s clothing, shoes, JEWELRY and accessories (mostly brand new with tags). The office has a great desk/chair, camera/film equipment, 8track players, shredders, VHS, office supplies, etc. The kitchen offers a side by side fridge, W/D, TONS of dishes and small appliances (again, many new and still in boxes).
And downstairs…the game room was built solely for a professional grade Brunswick Heritage pool table. Also, cool furniture, accessories, Bud Light light, Spud Mackenzie, Colt 45 and other lighted wall displays, trophies, photos, collectibles, etc. We have two full size beds, dresser, chest of drawers, gossip table, modern sofa and comfy chair w/ottoman, console TVs, portable TVs, LAMPS, glassware, art, wall hangings, and housewares.
THEN, the Christmas items!!! More than half of the stuff is brand new-in boxes. From traditional nativities to Santas and Snowmen, we have trees, ornaments, wall decor, Holiday dishes, servers, candles, gift wrap, and everything you would ever need to decorate!! We have Thanksgiving, Easter and Halloween covered too.
It’s all priced to sell quickly–and when we close Sunday afternoon we will hold an informal auction to liquidate the remaining items. 100% of auction proceeds go directly to Alzheimer’s Arkansas.
