I hope everyone had a great Valentine’s Day. We had to change our plans around, but we had a good one. Big Caleb was sick last week and basically stayed in bed for 3 days. He went to the doctor on Monday and was given 3 medications. So of course little Caleb has had it all week and I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve been barfed on. We celebrate Valentine’s Day on February 15th since Caleb had to work on Valentine’s Day and proposed to me on the 15th eight years ago. Today little Caleb fell asleep just as big Caleb came through the door with steaks. Big Caleb threw the steaks on the grill while I cooked the sides and we even got to watch an episode of one of our shows before Little Man woke up. Can’t beat that for a romantic Valentine’s Day dinner when you have a sick toddler! 😀 We had planned to eat out until Little Caleb got sick, but Big Caleb’s steaks beat just about anything we could have had in a restaurant.
Now all I have to do is stay well and get Little Man well enough to stay at my parents’ this weekend. This weekend is Robin’s and my annual trip to the Vintage Tulsa Show in Oklahoma. The show boasts 130 exhibitors and our goal is to talk to as many of them as possible before the show closes at 6PM. I’ve printed the map of the show and even color-coded the booths by who we need to talk to the most. I talk too much and never get to talk to everyone, but it’s a blast getting to see our exhibitors and meet new ones.
