Yesterday I had some professional photos taken of Lil Caleb at Lake Willastein by WDPhotography. Lil Caleb’s Granny (my mom) bought him a suit and new shoes for Easter that she insisted on him getting photos taken in. I spent most of the afternoon on the phone for Bella Rustina stuff, so the photo appointment time snuck up on me. At the last minute I fought LiL Caleb to put the suit on and quickly realized the pants were wayyy too big. I decided rather than be late to just figure out what to do when I got there. I did the best I could to roll the waist of the pants down to hopefully keep them up. Whitney pointed out some geese on the other side of the lake and hilarity ensued as Lil Man decided to run toward them. His pants fell around his knees and he just kept running. We didn’t let him get too close to the geese, but it was absolutely hilarious watching him run around with his pants around his knees, flapping his arms like a chicken, honking at the geese. Whitney got some great photos and I can’t wait to see them all! I have included the two preview photos she already sent me in this email. After taking photos in the suit, I changed Lil Man into clothes that matched his Monster Truck so we could get casual photos. He was all about that!
I plan to go to the Junk Ranch this weekend in Prairie Grove to shop and network. Thankfully I don’t need to recruit exhibitors because the July 15-16 Bella Rustina in Conway is completely booked, but it’s always good to introduce myself to future possible exhibitors and hear about what’s going on in show world.
