Last weekend Mid-Towne Antique Mall had their Grand Re-Opening Event and I completely forgot to mention it. The celebration was for their year-long remodeling project. The good thing is they are open Monday-Saturday 10AM-6PM and Sunday 1PM-5PM, so you can go any time to check out their shop.
I went to the Junk Ranch last Friday and had an absolute blast. My parents watched Little Caleb so I could have a day to myself and I enjoyed it to the fullest. I networked and shopped for 7 hours and still didn’t see everything. Most of that is my fault because I talk wayyy too much. I found Little Caleb an old metal Army truck, as if he needs any more trucks. I found some arrows for my show sign holders. Y’all will laugh at me, but I use old wooden casket stands as A-frame sign holders for the shows. The wooden arrows will complete the signs and help direct traffic our way. I also bought around 200 vintage soda bottle caps for a swag-bag project where I need 900 items. I’m thinking about buying some more bottle caps and turning them into magnets as an affordable swag-bag item rather than just giving admission coupons to the shows. I may need volunteers to get that project done, but I think it’ll be worth the effort.
