Last Friday was my birthday and I had a great birthday weekend. Friday night I went to dinner with my two favorite guys, Big Caleb and Little Caleb. On Saturday we went to the lake where my parents were camping and took Little Caleb on the pontoon boat for the first time, which he loved. Mom made her yearly colossal birthday cake for me, which was amazing as always.
My favorite part of the trip to the lake was giving Dad his Father’s Day gift, though. He was transporting his vintage John Deere tractor a few months ago and the seat blew off. Since then he’s been sitting on a 2×4 across the seat frame. I got him a bright yellow seat to replace it and he was thrilled. He said the 2×4 had developed a crack and kept pinching him every time he sat on it! LoL
On Sunday afternoon, we went to my mother-in-law’s house to celebrate my birthday and Father’s Day. When it was time to cut my birthday cake, Little Caleb decided to literally bite a corner out of the icing, which was sooo unexpected and hilarious! I had an amazing weekend and even got show stuff done in my downtime. The July 15-16 Bella Rustina is sneaking up on me!
