My week has turned out wayyyy different than I was thinking it would go. Caleb and I were supposed to be on a Caribbean cruise this week, but Hurricane Harvey changed all that. I’m counting my blessings and praying for Texas right now. People who were supposed to debark from the cruise ship that we were going to be on are still at sea because the ship cannot dock at the Port of Galveston yet. It could be Friday before they get to go home! I don’t know about a 2-week vacation when there’s so much adulting to do. A week is long enough!
We don’t have a whole lot going on this weekend, but what we do have sounds great! Tomorrow is the grand opening of The Barn Mercantile. I haven’t gotten to visit yet, but it sounds like a super neat shop featuring local artisans (with a few non-locals too). Click here for their Facebook page.
