Surprise, surprise, nothing has changed since last week. Yesterday marked 38 weeks of pregnancy, though, so baby Norris could arrive at any time. If he does like his big brother, he’ll arrive this weekend. I woke up early yesterday morning to 2 hours of fake contractions that almost had me convinced the little guy was on his way, but as soon as I told Big Caleb about them they stopped and I haven’t had another since. I’m proud to say I made it through my Turbo Kick workout class (with 24 burpees) last night and had to celebrate with a “belly pic”. I have no belly pics from my first pregnancy, so I made it happen this time. I’m also thrilled I haven’t had to break out any maternity clothing yet, but if this takes much longer it’s going to happen and I may have a 10+ pound baby too. Man, let’s hope he arrives soon… 😀 If he doesn’t, I’ll just keep getting things done. The July 13-15 Bella Rustina in Maumelle is fully booked now and I’m working on logistics and submitting advertising. As I had hoped, the Maumelle show will be a group of the best of the best exhibitors since the March event was successful. The September 8-9 show in Conway is also looking really good.
Yesterday I distributed more Bella Rustina promo cards around Little Rock and got to see Reinvented Vintage‘s new location at 1222 S. Main St., just before Sweet Home and South Main Creative. Annabelle has done a great job making her shop look fantastic. She gave me a tour and she has a great space for her workshops and storage – I’m excited for her!
I started on this email Monday afternoon and have worked on it daily and I still couldn’t get it finished at a decent time tonight. I blame it on Big Caleb because he wanted to go through a baby name book after dinner. I also waited until it cooled down outside to clean the Pack-N-Play. I had no idea that thing would require me to take it outside and scrub it down with Dial soap and hose it off to clean it. I was hoping I could machine-wash the fabric. It wasn’t that bad and it’s one more thing off my list. All I lack now is putting the car seat in the truck. Maybe by next week I’ll have some baby pics for y’all.
