I’ve finally got my husband back after months of campaigning. The best part is that he won! Starting January 1, Big Caleb will be Maumelle Mayor and I’ll be the “First Lady”. He received 52.82% of the votes despite having two opponents. Last night during Caleb’s Watch Party at Razorback Pizza, most of the city government officials (many of the Maumelle aldermen, city clerk, new city attorney, etc.) were there watching the votes come in with us, which really made us feel the love.
This all is slowly starting to hit me. I just have sooo much going on getting ready for the Antique Alley Arkansas Antique Show this weekend in Conway. I received a call from a local exhibitor and an exhibitor from Iowa last night during the watch party and filled the last available booths for this weekend. The Antique Alley Arkansas Facebook event has more people interested (almost 6,500 right now) than any of my events have ever had, so I’m hoping the awesomeness will continue. I already know it will be a beautiful show because of the incredible exhibitors signed up and all the Christmas stuff I’ve been seeing photos of that’s coming!
I have to laugh because my brother-in-law and his wife didn’t stay until Friday. They left this morning. I think Little Caleb was driving them crazy. At one point everything was quiet upstairs and I looked in their room to see Seth and Rhea in bed reading with Little Caleb right in-between them watching cartoons on a phone. They may never have children if they keep coming to stay once a year. Ha!
I gotta get off here and get to bed. I’m already tired and I haven’t even marked off booths yet for the show this weekend. The adrenaline and love for what I do will see me through. Here are the sales I know about for this weekend:
