Upcoming Estate Sales and Auctions for November 15 – 18

I would have never expected snow in November! Last week Mom heard the temperature would drop below freezing over the weekend so she cut her Marigolds and Zinnias for me to decorate the antique show tables. I’m still enjoying them today and had to take a photo of them in front of the snow.

                                                                                                                                                            Little Caleb was a mess last weekend. He started out on setup day of the antique show falling in love with a taxidermy water turtle in Shane’s booth. By the end of the day he fell for a taxidermy snapping turtle in Alisa’s booth. He carried it around for hours and threw a fit once she asked for it back. He quickly got over it the next day as he found a taxidermy iguana back in Shane’s booth. He wanted it so bad, but I never gave in. I conveniently took him to go pick up signs around town right before Shane left so he might forget about it and it worked perfectly. Much better toys exist for 4-year-old boys whether he believes it or not.

Looks like most of the antique/vintage malls in Little Rock are having their Open Houses this weekend. I know for sure Crystal Hill Antique Mall, Mid Town Vintage Market, and Fabulous Finds are having theirs. Roman Juliani Antiques will be setting up a trunk show in Fabulous Finds with lots of beautiful fine jewelry, sterling and antique smalls. These locations give the perfect opportunity to support local small businesses while shopping for your Christmas gifts.
