In the middle of everything else I have going on, I enrolled Little Caleb into Pre-Kindergarten yesterday. He has had a couple really good days and I hope it continues. Joshua is almost 8 months old and is getting better about not falling on his face every 5 minutes. He pulls himself up on everything so he can pilfer for things to put in his mouth. He smiled at me earlier and had half a business card stuck to the roof of his mouth. I can only imagine he ate the other half. I don’t remember Little Caleb being a goat, but these days it’s a constant battle and takes every member of the family to keep everything out of Joshua’s reach.
We’ve really enjoyed the warm weather the past few days. I’m so glad I figured out how to use the “portrait” photo feature on my phone because in the photo of Joshua, Little Caleb is dancing around in the background in his underwear. It doesn’t matter how cold it is, he takes his clothes off as soon as he comes in the front door. I’ve asked around and it sounds like
that’s common with kids his age. I figure we’d all do that if we could get away with it. 😀
Next week I get the keys to the former Gordmans building and I really can’t wait. Actually I’m excited and scared to death at the same time. I’ve already had a couple surprises so that adds to the anxiety, but yet I’m beyond excited because the building is going to be gorgeous filled with handmade and upcycled/repurposed stuff for the February 22-24 Maker Made & ReMade Market and then vintage and vintage-inspired stuff for the March 8-10 Bella Rustina. I had lined up food trucks and a restroom trailer because I expect the events to be huge, only to find out after asking a few questions that I can’t have any part of the event outside. Thankfully the food trucks are able to change up what they do so they can offer food inside. We have restrooms inside, but I was hoping to have more available, so it won’t be the end of the world. It’s just part of the fun of promoting events in different locations.
