I enjoyed watching exhibitors make the former Gordmans building theirs today. Local artist Matt Coburn came in to a wall with lots of holes in it where shelving track had been removed from the wall and he used hooks to hang his artwork and create an eye-catching display.
Other exhibitors have gotten creative with the available fixtures so the
booths look fantastic. Erin of Elm’s attic rescued some amazing vintage watercolor portraits from the trash after the last Bella Rustina and she is using them to embellish her backdrop. My favorite creations in her booth are necklaces made from yo-yo quilt pieces.
Everyone else will be moving in Thursday and the show opens to the public Friday. I can’t wait to see all the other goodies that come in. I’ll post more preview photos on the Facebook page Thursday night.
