I didn’t get a chance to go junkin’ in the past week due to being under the weather. Big time under the weather. I’ve hardly been able to talk for 2 days and it’s really hard to make my boys take me seriously when I sound like a toad when I talk. I finally gave up and went to the local Urgent Care place and got a shot in each hip and prescriptions for an antibiotic and cough medicine. The nurse said I should feel drastically better by in the morning and I’m so ready.
The photo I shared above is of a cabinet I found for my mom to use in her booth at the Freeway Emporium in Searcy. I found it at LWM Estate Sales and it was a good price so I called Mom to see if she could work with it and she could. It was missing a top shelf, but the bottom shelf fit perfectly up top and Dad built a bottom shelf with some reclaimed wood so Mom could maximize the cabinet. You can’t really tell from my photo, but I think it’s so smart that she puts small lamps in the bottom shelves so everything is visible.
We have some great sales going on this weekend. I just realized one sale is on my street and even though I’ve been sick and there’s almost no way I could pull it off, I’d love to drag some stuff out and try to have a sale myself.
