Last Thursday I did not wake up feeling like Superwoman and Joshua woke up sick, so I didn’t even go to the estate sale on my street, little alone throw anything out in my driveway to sell. The Norris Plague of 2019 has kicked our tails. Poor Joshua has had it worst I believe. I took him to the doctor Friday where he was diagnosed with a severe ear infection that could cause his ear to rupture. I let Joshua walk to the front door when we got home so I could carry groceries and a bird pooped on his head! The bird had to have been showing off because Joshua was definitely the smallest target. Then on Saturday Joshua’s ear did indeed rupture. Thankfully it’s not as bad as it sounds, but I had no idea at the time. The doctor’s office gives out a number that connected me with a nurse at Arkansas Children’s Hospital to let me know he’d be okay. I took him to the doctor yesterday and she could not find a hole in his eardrum, which is great news.
And then I had to include the t-ball photo I received on Friday of Little Caleb because the photo makes me laugh out loud every time I look at it. That face reminds me of how I feel about the past week and a half of being under the weather. The Junk Ranch is this weekend in Prairie Grove and I hope to go get some junk therapy in.
There are a ton of sales this weekend. I hope the flooding isn’t affecting any of you. Big Caleb has been running around all over Maumelle all day and night checking on areas of concern and trying to help where he can. Everybody stay safe. Here are the sales I know about for this weekend:
