I had the best time at the Junk Ranch Saturday. I am so thankful I brought my little fold-up junkin’ cart because I filled it twice! Within the first couple of booths I found four old gas cans that filled up my cart. I will use the gas cans to make Jack-O-Lanterns for my Fall events. Then I found the round plant stand. It comes in 4 pieces and its uses are endless. The person I bought it from is one of my regular Bella Rustina exhibitors and they let me leave my gas cans with the plant stand so I could make room in my cart. Next thing I know I run into a booth with a flamboyance of vintage plastic flamingos (I had to Google what a group of flamingos is called). I have no idea yet what I’ll do with them, but I couldn’t pass them up. I plan on decorating the July 13-14 Bella Rustina with them somehow. Today I found a fantastic 10′ wooden ladder that has been painted white and heavily distressed that’s got my wheels turning for a display. Who knows what I’ll come up with!
I also signed up some fantastic vintage exhibitors for the upcomingBella Rustina Modern Vintage Markets. For July 13-14 in Conway I’m pretty sure we’ll have a young exhibitor selling vintage clothing out of an old school bus. Another newcomer will have vintage board games and thousands of records. Lots of new exhibitors have signed up as well as some we haven’t seen in a while. Nine states are represented so far. The show is full, but I continue to receive registrations from amazing exhibitors so I keep figuring out ways to fit more exhibitors in. I’m even talking to a popular food truck about joining us, so it’s looking like it’ll be a well-rounded show. I can’t wait!
