Last Friday I noticed on one of the Maumelle Facebook pages that someone announced Wal-Mart had their flowers marked down. It was perfect timing for me to get flowers for my grain bins, so I took the boys and we had a blast picking out flowers. Okay I did. I had a blast. The boys hated it, but we got through it and I got some great deals. I had to take the flowers and grain bins to my parents’ house to plant them because Joshua likes to run off every time I put him down outside. He’ll giggle and run as fast as his chubby little legs will move when I chase him down. It worked out well to put the arrangements together at my parents’ because Dad let me borrow his leather hole punch and it worked perfectly to make hanging holes in the belt the grain bins are secured to. I have some large ‘S’ hooks that I used to hang the set up on my fence. After the insane wind we just had, I’m afraid to look at the condition of the flowers now, but the whole setup is very heavy and hopefully stayed intact.
