Upcoming Estate Sales and Auctions for April 30 – May 3

Hi! Hope you’re having a great week!  We have some sales (with restrictions) this weekend, so be sure to check out the details at the bottom of the email.

Our Estate Sale Company of the week is Caring Transitions of Little Rock Metro. Here are Krista’s answers:

1.) Business Name:
Caring Transitions of Little Rock Metro

2.) Your Name:
            Krista Hughes

3.) Names of those who work with you (workers/helpers/employees) during your sales:
Aleda, Jan, Betty Jan, Pam, Khadeja, and Scheryl are our primary sales gals.  We also have a lot of help from our labor side of the team, including Devin, Erik, Brooks and so many more.

4.) What cities/area do you cover in Arkansas?
Little Rock, N. Little Rock, Sherwood, Jacksonville, Cabot, Conway, Bryant, Hot Springs Village and over to Malvern.

5.) How did you get involved with estate sales?
Bought the Caring Transitions Franchise as a business endeavor.  Have never been to an estate sale in my life before then.  Thankfully, I’ve wrapped such great talent around me….  They’ve taught me so much in a relatively short period of time.

6.) What’s the most interesting thing you’ve found in a sale?
First (early in the business) answer would have been gold teeth (ha).  But, I saw a tiny wine bottle cork thing with a pewter top of a lil’ character.  I ended up referring job out to a friend as a buyout.  That home was packed and this thing was the true needle in the haystack of so much stuff (the size of my pinky finger).  I mentioned it off handedly to my buddy and the next day he delivered it as a gift to me.  I just love that!  So weird what people are drawn to.  Certainly doesn’t meet the standard of most interesting, but it “spoke to me” (maybe it was just calling me a Wino,  Lol).

7.) Do you collect anything?
Yes, Memories….  I need to start recording them, maybe to my “Memoirs”😉 , before my memory starts to slip away. I don’t prefer to collect material things.

8.) Anything else you’d like for us to know?
Favorite Movie:  Overboard with Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell
Favorite Song:  Sweet Home Alabama and It is Well with My Soul
Favorite Live event:  Arkansas State Fair
