Last week I mentioned I’d be giving my sister-in-law-to-be the brass candle holders I found at The Junk Ranch to add to her wedding decorations. The brass candleholder grouping was the perfect addition to the table in front of her selfie-station. Fast forward to the wedding – Both Little Caleb and Joshua were ring bearers and they did great…until Joshua got bored and decided to run off with one of the flower girls. The flower girl is his “cousin-in-law” who is about the same age and they had a blast together. I watched from afar as they discovered a charcoal pit in the top of a long wall and proceeded to throw the charcoal. They made a huge mess, but I knew if I tried to stop Joshua during the nuptials, the focus would be on the wrong people. Family came together to pick up the charcoal afterward so cleanup wasn’t a big task. We had a great time. I got an awesome video of Little Caleb dancing to the “Boot Scootin’ Boogie” and Joshua enjoyed eating the icing only off my piece of cake using a spoon.
My sister-in-law found the advertising sign in the photo above at by brother’s autobody shop. He hadn’t used it in years, but as soon as Mandy saw it, she remembered something she saw on Pinterest and came up with this project for him. He painted the arrow with a white candy paint so it is a gorgeous glittery white. He made sure the lights worked and would blink as they should. The sign looked really cool and directed everyone to the field where the wedding occurred. The weather was perfect and the wedding was beautiful so it was a pretty good day.
