Last week Big Caleb asked me to go with him to a reptile show in Arlington, Texas. I don’t mind going to non-vintage shows because I can learn better ways to do things regardless of what’s being sold. I have been to that show before, so I searched around for vintage markets happening around Dallas last weekend and found a show in Waxahachie. I only knew a handful of exhibitors there, so I got to practice my sales pitch for my upcoming shows. I spoke with some fantastic exhibitors and some are very interested in joining us in the future. I didn’t find even one thing to buy, but I had fun visiting with exhibitors and didn’t have to go to the reptile show so it worked out great. The boys stayed at my parents’ and had a blast. I thought I’d take advantage of “remote learning” so Big Caleb and I could get on the road earlier, but Little Caleb gave my mom and me a run for our money. Of course Granny’s house is for fun, not school work, so I figure that’s why Little Caleb had no desire whatsoever to do his work, but he finally got it done.
I’m excited to say we have a large list of great sales to go to this weekend! Plus 501 day is this weekend. 501 day celebrates Arkansas towns and small businesses.
