I hope you made it through the ice storm okay last weekend. The roads were so slick – the boys received sleds for Christmas, so we decided to try them out on a steep hill on a nearby street. Big Caleb and Joshua got in the sled, pushed off, slid down the steep hill, went around the curve, took the first left and went alllll the way to the end of that street. I captured a video of it and posted it to TikTok if you want to see. Snow would have never allowed them to travel that far. It was hilarious!
Little Caleb has been asking for a new Nerf gun even though he has a bazillion. He asked again after school yesterday and I told him we should look at Hometown Kountry. They have a couple vendors there who sell toys at a really good price and I needed to take March 11-13 War Memorial Stadium Bella Rustina cards by anyway. For $20, Little Caleb left with two Nerf-style guns (one new in the box), and a Nerf football while Joshua got a bag of Monster Truck toys and a llama pop-it. We most likely couldn’t have gotten a Nerf gun like he wants for less than $20, so I count it as a win.
