Most of the Bella Rustina Modern Vintage Market billboards are up in Little Rock with more to come, the War Memorial Stadium locker rooms and cheerleader room are rented, and the concourse is almost full. I’m in that crunch time where I have a bunch of ads due, but I’m hoping by next week I’ll be able to slow down.

This has been the home of the late Bill Hodges and his wife, Martha. Bill was a retired member of the USAAF and the USAF, an avid pilot, a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association, the Antique Aircraft Association, and The Ryan Aircraft Association where he served as the chairman and newsletter publisher for many years.
His collections, which will be offered in this sale, included books (some first editions) about flying, about how to fly, about flying in war and flying in peace time, stories about pilots, real and fictional, and about maintaining aircraft. He also had flying model airplanes, non-flying model airplanes (mostly unassembled), HO gauge trains, personal photographs, bought photographs, posters, and lithographs of airplanes and warships, patches, medals, and military memorabilia, and a full set of plans to build your own EAA biplane!
He and Martha also had many nice LP recordings, along with cassette and 8-trak tapes and VHS movies, including a set of Alfred Hitchcock and many Disney animated films.
Other items offered include three (3!) dining room tables with chairs, three sofas, many quilts, book- and utility shelves, a treadle Singer sewing machine, a Zenith sewing machine, and assorted lamps, tables, and desks.
One outstanding item is a fully functional Victor Talking Machines gramophone.
