| I was invited to participate in a podcast last week about being a show promoter and it was fun! The guy who created the exhibitor portal I use to keep up with my exhibitor booth placements and payments came up with a great idea to have podcasts with the promoters he supports. He mentioned it the last time I called him with a question and I encouraged him to go for it, so I got to be the guinea pig. You can watch/listen to mine on Youtube here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Rby3BI1Bj0 The boys are on Fall Break this week and they are getting pretty creative entertaining themselves while I get our house ready for Little Caleb’s 8th birthday party on Saturday. I went upstairs for just a few minutes this afternoon and heard Little Caleb begin screaming bloody murder downstairs. I found him in the kitchen holding his face with drops of blood all over the floor. That silly boy thought it would be fun to throw a racquetball ball up the stairway (I guess to see the ball bounce from wall to wall), but it bounced right back and hit him in the face. Sometimes it’s really hard to be a consoling mom with a straight face. Joshua is living his best life at that age where a boy likes to pee everywhere but in the restroom. I was playing football with little Caleb in our front yard and turned around to find Joshua standing on the roof of my truck peeing onto the grass below. Boy-mom life is never dull! I got the boys a large train set at the Counting On Each Other sale last weekend. We left it at their Granny’s and Pa’s house until after the birthday party so I don’t have to ask the boys a bazillion times to pick it up. The set is a little overwhelming for the boys with over 125 pieces, so I look forward to helping them create a huge track when we bring it home.
