We had a busy Saturday last weekend! First we had Pancakes with Santa. We have gotten photos with Santa Jim since the boys were babies, so he’s the real deal as far as they are concerned! It is so fun to watch their excitement. Little Caleb has been sporting a mohawk hairstyle for a few weeks and getting to see Santa prompted him to go for a less rebellious-looking hairstyle for the first time since getting the cut. 
Buddy the Elf (Big Caleb’s Chief of Staff) showed up with a note on his chest saying he was lost and asking for help finding his dad, the mayor of Maumelle, which is the reason for Big Caleb’s red face.
I had a couple hours between Pancakes with Santa and getting ready for the Maumelle parade, so I went over to the Arkansas Craft Guild’s Annual Christmas Showcase. They always have top-notch artists at their event, so I try to go every year. This year I purchased a mug from one of my favorite artists, Suzi Dennis. Her designs are so whimsical and fun. I love how she even decorates the bottom of the mug:
