Upcoming Estate Sales and Auctions for May 18 – 21

I hope all y’all had a happy Mother’s Day weekend! The boys and I went to my parents’ house and had the best time. I got Mom this metal butterfly art from The Metal Man at Bella Rustina:

Mom at first told me she had forgotten to get me something for Mother’s Day (I wasn’t expecting anything anyway), but next thing I know she brought me a large box and told me to wait about opening it until she could get a video. I opened the box to find a taxidermied chicken! A Facebook friend had a yard sale months ago and was selling that chicken (I saw photos of it on Facebook) and I asked Mom to get it for me. Why did I need it? I dunno — how often do you see a taxidermied chicken?! She didn’t tell me she got it so I forgot all about it. When I opened the box I laughed until I cried – that decrepit chicken was so funny looking laying sideways in the box! It is missing feathers on top of its head and its mouth is open. I wonder if it was someone’s beloved pet. So far I have it hanging out on my kitchen counter and it makes me smile every time I go into the kitchen. I’m still trying to figure out whether to use it as a Bella Rustina mascot or decorate with it or both!

We’ve got a great looking list of sales this weekend. Here’s what I know:
