School starts for my boys in the morning. Joshua will be going to Kindergarten and Little Caleb will be in third grade. I’m so excited for them to be going to the same school!
We had one more fun outing over the weekend to finish up summer. We went to Cockrill’s Country Critters Petting Zoo in Austin, Arkansas on Saturday afternoon. It was super hot outside and we were the only ones silly enough to be there, but we had a great time. We found a young chicken tangled in some netting and Little Caleb climbed under a wagon to rescue it even with Momma Hen giving him the what-fors. We found a worker who was able to cut the netting off the chicken’s legs and feet. I wish I would have gotten a photo! The animals were all so tame and would walk right up to us. Little Caleb wasn’t so sure about the emu, but it was only curious.
