| I learned a lesson last week! Dora (The Explorer) joined me for my walk and got spooked and ran away. I looked for her for days before getting a call from Maumelle Animal Services saying someone brought her in. She joins me for my walks occasionally and we walk down a trail that goes between houses. If she has snuck out of the house and I’m trying to go on my walk, she is adamant on joining me and won’t let me catch her. She has the best time climbing trees and chasing squirrels and rabbits when we go. I plan to get her a harness with a leash to wear going forward. She probably won’t like it, but that’s the only way I’ll let her join me again. The boys and I are so glad to have her back home! |

| I was sad to find out last week that Carmen, the former owner of Carmen’s Antiques in Conway, passed away. Carmen was such a neat lady and a great friend. I met her while distributing promo cards for the shows and I always looked forward to chatting with her when I went by her shop. Sometimes she would join the shows and sell her antique and vintage art. She moved to Virginia to be closer to her daughter, but she would call and keep in touch. She called me on my birthday in June and I am so glad I got to talk to her. She was so fiesty when I spoke with her in June I would have never thought that would be the last time I’d talk to her. She was almost 81, but you would have never guessed it by looking at her or talking to her. She will be missed so much! Click here for her obituary.
